Watermark's video about the effects of the 2015 flooding

Watermark's video about the effects of the 2015 flooding

Watermark, our community flood-fund scheme have been working hard to film local businesses talking about the ways in which the flooding in December 2015 affected them. You can watch Ffion talk about the flooding at Radiance, how we dealt with it and how we're moving forward in the video below. Creating the video after being back up and running happily for a few months was a great opportunity to reflect on what had happened and to celebrate the positive aspects such as our heightened sense of community and having a chance to restart and refresh the business after Ffion took over from Hannah....

Radiance reopening 10th September 2016!

Radiance reopening 10th September 2016!

We had such a lovely day welcoming friends and customers into the refurbished shop, and to share our new (and old and loved) selection of products by designers and makers in the UK and beyond. The campaign is a joint venture between Totally Locally & Community Foundation for Calderdale. At Radiance, we have decided to that from July onwards, we will donate 5% of all sales of Hannah Nunn lamps, on the Radiance website and in our Market Street shop to the...

Planning the shop post-flood

Planning the shop post-flood

We had such a successful and exciting planning session today after going to see progress in the shop. The plastering has been done, we have some exceptionally beautiful skirting boards(!?), the floor will be down soon (this time tiles... that look like wood!) and then the proper fun can begin. Mind maps are the answer to everything.
